How Can We Help?
Alternative Data Exchange
What is the Alternative Data Exchange
The “Alternative Data Exchange” (ADE) is a specialized feature designed to address performance issues that occur on lower-end hardware, particularly laptops.
On such systems, Trucky can experience performance bottlenecks that cause network requests to fail or hang indefinitely. This prevents job data from being uploaded to the Trucky Hub, leaving jobs in an “unsynced” state.
While restarting Trucky with the game closed and allowing it to sync jobs over an active internet connection might resolve this issue, it’s still frustrating when jobs aren’t being logged properly.
The ADE feature is especially valuable for users who frequently encounter “Unsynced Jobs” even when their computer has a stable internet connection.
ADE addresses this problem by implementing an alternative method for data exchange between the game, Trucky itself, and overlay windows. This approach significantly reduces or completely eliminates the performance bottleneck.
How to enable
From Trucky Settings > General Settings > Under the “Overlay Settings” section > check “Use Alternative Data Exchange”
Then restart the game.
