How Can We Help?
Configure External Applications for Replay recording
Trucky Configuration
Open Settings > tab Video Capture and replay, select “External” as Replay Mode
For OBS you have two configure two hotkeys: start the replay buffer and record the replay
For NVidia Experience, it should be necessary to configure only the hotkey to record the replay because Instant Replay should enabled automatically when you start the game.
You can choose how many seconds wait to capture the replay: Trucky will wait the configured seconds before triggering the hotkey to ensure the replay will contains past and future duration before and after the collision event.
Hotkeys are testable in different ways:
Testing the hotkey for enabling or disabling the replay buffer is possible also when the game is closed. For OBS you should see the icon changing with the red dot when the replay buffer is enabled while for NVidia Experience you should see an alert on screen
Record Replay hotkey is testable while in-game
OBS or Streamlabs Desktop
Open OBS
Open File > Settings
Go to the Output tab and then scroll down to Replay Buffer section, enable it and set how much time you want to record for the past duration before the collision event
Now go the Hotkeys tab and configure hotkeys for starting or stopping the Replay Buffer and trigger the replay recording
The good thing about OBS is you can create rich replays using OBS features like using images, watermarks, texts recorded with the replay itself.
Adjust quality, video and audio sources in OBS.
