How Can We Help?
Self Diagnostic tool: Config Health Checker
the Config Health Checker is a built-in tool that checks your configuration for your Trucky installation.
Could be a good starting point to diagnose and self troubleshoot some common configuration issues.
To launch it, head over the support menu in the top bar, the ? icon and click on “Config Health Checker”
It will open a modal window, after few seconds, it will show the result:
The Config Health Checker performs default checks that we do while looking at your logs and expose common configuration issues:
- Checks for Game Installation and Home Directory paths configuration
- If they are writable or readable: could be blocked from OneDrive, Antivirus or Controlled Folder Access in Windows Defender
- Checks if and where is installed the Telemetry plugin
- Checks if the plugins folder is writable
- Checks if game.log is readable
- Could be blocked from OneDrive or Antivirus
- Checks if you have profiles directory
- It could be missing if you use ONLY Steam Cloud synced profiles
- Checks for mismatch between the last game run path execution and the one configured in Trucky
- They could be different if you move the game installation via Steam after having configured Trucky or if you selected the wrong path (is a common issue with multiple game installations present on disk)
- Checks if you have VCRedist installed
- Is needed to run the Telemetry plugin
- Checks if you have Antivirus running
- Depending on their configuration could block completely Trucky or interfere with some features
- Checks if you have RivaTuner or MSIAfterBurner running
- Depending on their configuration can lead to huge FPS drops or game crash
