The Official Testers are one of the last lines of defense before new functionality reaches the community. Even the smallest details can have a significant impact on the user experience. Requirements
- Be an active ETS2 and/or ATS player who regularly drives and logs jobs.
- Have extensive knowledge of Trucky and actively use most of its features.
- Be responsive and available to perform testing when requested.
- Be committed to the project and willing to contribute over the long term.
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to identify unexpected or unusual behavior.
- Be able to provide clear, reliable, and constructive feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased features and internal discussions when required.
- Technical knowledge, experience with software testing, troubleshooting, or familiarity with development processes is a strong advantage.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Test newly developed features, improvements, and bug fixes promptly.
- Actively search for bugs, edge cases, and unexpected behavior.
- Verify reported issues and help reproduce problems whenever possible.
- Provide detailed feedback, including reproduction steps when applicable.
- Test different usage scenarios to ensure features work as intended.
- Regularly use Trucky and stay familiar with existing and newly introduced functionality.
- Communicate findings with the development team in a timely manner.
