A couple of days ago, Patreon added a new billing option called ‘Subscription billing’. So last weekend we changed our campaign to use this new billing type. By doing this, there are some changes to how you will be billed by Patreon if you have an active subscription to Trucky.
So what is ‘Subscription billing’?
Subscription billing means that you will renew your subscription on the same day that you first subscribed for our campaign. So if you join our campaign today, it will renew on the 11th of November, then the 11th of December, and so on. While previously, it would automatically renew on the 1st of the next month. However, it is possible you may be charged up to 24 hours beforehand due to time zone differences.
All active subscriptions will not be affected by this change. In this case, your renewal date will stay as the 1st of every month.
